Last March, Jeff Hardy shared his desire to start using his old "No More Words" entrance song in WWE. By the time September rolled around, he confirmed in an interview that he had signed a new contract with WWE and said that the theme would return as soon as fans came back to shows.
Well, in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that Jeff will start using this theme starting mid-July. That lines up with when fans return and this hopefully means he'll no longer be a glorified job guy on RAW (he has been used a little more in recent weeks, though).
Jeff has been using The Hardy Boyz theme since returning to WWE at WrestleMania 33 and used "No More Words" when he was at his peak as a singles star in WWE between 2008 and 2009.
Of course, none of this means the former WWE Champion will end up being pushed as a top star.
We've barely seen Jeff on television since last year, and it's no secret that time was added to his contract due to injuries. With that in mind, you'd think WWE would have released him by now...if it wasn't for the fact he'd likely head straight to AEW where his brother Matt is currently signed!
