Most wrestling fans agree that SmackDown Live is far better than RAW and fans of the one-time B-show will no doubt be excited to know that the 1000th episode of the show will air on USA later this year.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, it's going to be shown on the cable network on October 16th in Washington, D.C. and WWE is already making plans for the big event. On the 900th episode, WWE teased a match featuring The Rock vs. Triple H which sadly never became a reality. However, The Great One's appearance was still a big deal so who knows how many cames will get this time!

WWE never disappoints when it comes to these anniversary shows (just look at RAW 1000 and RAW 25) so here's hoping something good will happen. Are you excited? Share your thoughts down below.
