Here's When WWE Found Out That Dean Ambrose Would Debut In AEW As Jon Moxley

The second Dean Ambrose revealed that he would be leaving WWE, speculation started running rampant that he would head to All Elite Wrestling. At the Double or Nothing PPV, that proved to be the case when he attacked Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho but when did his former employers find out?

According to Dave Meltzer, it was a good couple of days before the show took place!

"From what I understand they found out he was going to AEW on that Thursday," he reveals. "I think that he snowed them with the idea that I’m just burned out I just need time off and because of that it was because of that they were like ‘if he just needs time off and he’s gonna work CZW or places like that you know what I mean?"

Based on how unhappy Jon Moxley was at the end of his WWE run, he was probably happy to let them think he wasn't going to AEW so there's now probably a fair few executives there (Vince McMahon included) who are fuming with him.

Luckily, it doesn't sound like he cares!
