Around this time last year, we heard that Tampa, Florida has put in a bid for a future WrestleMania. Back then, Tampa Bay Sports Commission executive director Rob Higgins went on record to say important the event would be to the city, especially when so many WWE Superstars live there (remember that the Performance Center is in Orlando).
Well, it's now being reported that Tampa is indeed the frontrunner and it's thought that an announcement could be made soon.
Orlando is also looking to get WrestleMania either in 2023 or 2025, while Minnesota has been pushing hard for a number of years now. For the time being, it doesn't appear as if WWE has any plans to bring the Showcase of the Immortals to the UK despite the recent opening on a Performance Center and that's bound to disappoint many fans.
