WWE will reportedly be doing an explanation tonight on SmackDown Live to explain why Daniel Bryan isn't going to Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. While the company has been hoping that the leader of the Yes Movement might change his mind, it simply isn't going to happen and he made it clear to WWE over a week ago that he won't be heading overseas to take part in the controversial show.
According to PWInsider, WWE was planning on not sending WWE Champion AJ Styles to Saudi Arabia and the plan was for him to wrestle Byran in the WWE Performance Center so that it could be aired on Friday. That idea was dropped and the latest idea is for Rusev to take Bryan's place.
There's even some speculation that Bryan might get his title shot tonight with someone interfering and attacking Styles to set up a match for Friday. Either way, it should be interesting seeing how this situation is handled as that's bound to have some major ramifications for WWE yet again. What do you guys think?
