Mustafa Ali was recently moved from 205 Live to SmackDown Live but it seems as if he's now fallen victim to WWE's recent spate of injuries. While it was initially reported that he was being pulled from Elimination Chamber because of a series of issues, Dave Meltzer has now confirmed that he actually suffered a concussion at a house show this weekend.
If he's cleared today, we'll see him in the WWE Championship match on Sunday but that seems highly unlikely given how seriously the company views concussions.
As for who could ultimately replace him, we should find that out tonight as WWE will need to put someone else in the Gauntlet match which is set to decide who enters last. In Meltzer's eyes, there are two possibilities: "Rey Mysterio and Andrade would possibly be your leading candidates for that spot."
That would be very cool but given their last-minute inclusion, it's highly unlikely that they would end up walking away with the title.
