Here's Why AJ Styles Hasn't Wrestled On SMACKDOWN LIVE For The Past Few Weeks

AJ Styles has been feuding with Baron Corbin recently for the United States Championship and the two will finally come to blows with the title on the line at Hell in a Cell this Sunday. However, for reasons unknown, The Phenomenal One has not been wrestling on SmackDown Live for a few weeks now (leading many fans to wonder if Styles might have suffered some sort of injury).

Well, according to Dave Meltzer, AJ has still been wrestling every night at WWE Live events and still performs on a Tuesday night in a dark match after 205 Live to stop crowds from leaving.

It's a good strategy and definitely serves as an incentive to stop fans from flooding out of the arena as soon as SmackDown Live goes off the air. After all, even Enzo Amore's presence hasn't made 205 Live all that compelling so keeping Styles off the show is a smart move. Well, for those actually in the building! For the rest of us, we're having to miss out on seeing Styles wrestle regularly!
