No one really seems to know why WWE is booking Daniel Bryan the way they are right now but it turns out that there is a good reason why that "career altering" announcement from the former WWE Champion didn't take place on last Tuesday's SmackDown Live

According to Post Wrestling, Bryan had scheduled vacation time last week and wasn't event at the show.

There's no word on why WWE is holding off on that announcement from Bryan (or whether it's actually going to happen) but it's said that there is a storyline in place for him. Speculation online is running rampant that Bryan could move to NXT or 205 Live but that hasn't been confirmed and would be a very strange use of the one-time leader of the Yes Movement.

We'll keep you guys updated as we learn more.
