There were a few notable absences from Friday's Greatest Royal Rumble with Sami Zayn, The Big Show, and Drew McIntyre among the most notable omissions. However, an explanation for at least one of those has now been revealed and it turns out there's actually no controversy behind the decision.
Apparently, the reason former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre couldn't make it is because WWE was unable to get his Visa sorted out in time due to him having just returned to action after a nasty injury.
Don't worry, though, because word backstage is that Vince McMahon is high on McIntyre and he's essentially everything he wants in a WWE Superstar; he can talk, he's big, he's good-looking, and a great worker in the ring. He's also evolved in a big way since his 3MB days and is now a bona fide main eventer. With that in mind, there's a very good chance we'll see him receive a big push moving forward.
