We've heard a lot about EC3 having some backstage heat in WWE and it's no secret that Vince McMahon randomly decided to scrap his push. However, we've seen nothing of him in recent months and fans have been wondering what his status with the company could be.

Well, Dave Meltzer has revealed in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he suffered a concussion in September and that's why he's been M.I.A. from both TV and Live events ever since.

EC3 signed a three-year deal with WWE in January 2018 and that means he'll be free by 2021. Whether he'll choose to leave remains to be seen but given how he's been treated since moving up to the main roster from NXT, it's hard to imagine him wanting to stick around.

Either way, it's a little concerning that's he's been out this long with a concussion so we wish him a speedy recovery!
