Here's Why Lana Didn't Return Alongside Rusev When He Recently Came Back To RAW

Former United States Champion Rusev recently returned to RAW back in his monster heel persona but why wasn't his real-life wife Lana by his side? We have an update on that for you here! Check it out...

When Rusev returned to RAW a couple of weeks ago, it appeared as if the plan was for him to get involved in the angle with Mike and Maria Kanellis regarding the father of her child. That was quickly dropped by WWE but the company continues to portray the Bulgarian Brute as a monster heel.

The question on the minds of most fans, though, was why Lana wasn't with him.

Well, according to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the reason she isn't by his side is because WWE has other ideas for her character. This reportedly isn't a situation where they don't want to use her for some reason and it's possible she's finally going to get a push as a singles competitor in the women's division.

We'll keep you updated with how things go for these two but don't be surprised if things become clearer once the WWE Draft takes place.
