Here's Why Michael Cole Will Miss WWE RAW For Only The Second Time In 20 Years

Love him or hate him, Michael Cole has become the voice of WWE. Now, it's been revealed that he's going to miss RAW on Monday for only the second time in two decades! Why? Hit the jump for details...

If you've been watching WWE for the past two decades or so, you'll be more than familiar with the work of commentator Michael Cole. He's told us countless times that RAW is the longest running episodic TV show in history but won't be doing so on Monday for only the second time in twenty years. Cole won't be gone for long, though, as he's taking the time off for his son's wedding!

The first time was after WrestleMania 31 when a furious Brock Lesnar (who had lost the WWE Championship the night before) F5ed him and he took the next week off to sell his injuries. 

It's pretty incredible that Cole is missing RAW for only the second time in his career but it's fair to say that he deserves a break. The show is going to be in good hands, though, as SmackDown Live commentator Tom Phillips is going to be on hand to take his place. It's always fun when he and Corey Graves get together so here's hoping we get a fun show out of them this Monday.
