Here's Why Randy Orton Has Been Absent From WWE Television In Recent Months

According to Fightful, the reason Randy Orton hasn't been seen on WWE Television in recent months is because he's been dealing with a neck injury. It's said that he was evaluated last week after jamming his neck in a recent match against Aleister Black (who he could end up facing at Extreme Rules this coming Sunday).

It doesn't sound too serious because Dave Melzer reveals that, "The injury was said to not be serious, but there weren’t any immediate plans for Orton at TV, and was given the time off to heal up."

It's a shame WWE isn't really doing much with Orton, especially as he's one of the company's veteran stars. With any luck, though, he will receive the spotlight in the coming months because WWE could do with the starpower he brings and an Orton/Black feud definitely has potential.

What would you like to see from The Viper when he steps back into the squared circle?
