Here's Why Renee Young Once Again Filled In For Jonathan Coachman On Last Night's RAW
During last night's RAW, Renee Young once again joined the commentary team but the only explanation for Jonathan Coachman's absence was that he was "on assignment." Now, we know where he really was...
A few weeks ago, Renee Young made history by joining the announce team for RAW for the entire three hours. Last night, she once again joined the commentary team alongside Michael Cole and Corey Graves and Jonathan Coachman was (thankfully) nowhere to be seen. It was said that he was "on assignment" but the truth is that Coach was actually working for the Gold Channel again.
He was at the WinStar World Casino and Resort shooting footage for a two-night event which probably won't be of much interest to the majority of wrestling fans. You can see his Instagram post below.
In the past, WWE would have called in Booker T or Byron Saxton to fill in for Coach but she clearly impressed WWE official enough to warrant being asked back a second time. Common sense no says she'll be on the Evolution commentary team, presumably alongside Michael Cole and Beth Phoenix. Would you like Young to take Coach's place on a permanent basis? Sound off down below.
