Since Friday, fans have been talking almost non-stop about the ending of Crown Jewel's World Cup tournament. After The Miz was "injured," Shane McMahon stepped in to take on a tired Dolph Ziggler and ended up being named the best in the world in the process. So, what's the deal with his big win?

Well, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the plan is for Shane McMahon to turn heel and it was always the plan for the SmackDown Live Commissioner to win the tournament.

Now, he's going to be calling himself the "best in the world" on WWE TV and that's no doubt going to play into the RAW vs. SmackDown Live Survivor Series match. It's certainly an interesting decision and one which definitely has some potential. Whether or not this means we'll see a babyface Stephanie McMahon is hard to say but Triple H hasn't been working as a heel for quite some time now.
