Here's Why We Haven't Seen Women's Tag Team Champion Kairi Sane On WWE Television Recently

We've seen a lot of Asuka on RAW and SmackDown lately, but nothing of Kairi Sane. Well, a new report sheds some light on where she's been and whether she's set to be part of this year's WrestleMania...

Kairi Sane has been M.I.A. for a number of weeks now, and given Asuka's frequent appearances on RAW and SmackDown, there's been a lot of concern among fans that she could be injured or stuck in quarantine! Well, Dave Meltzer has confirmed on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that she will be part of the Women's Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania

Apparently, she was in Japan after getting married last month and WWE officials were aware that she would miss the shows leading into the Show of Shows.

How she managed to travel from Japan back to the United States without getting stuck due to travel restrictions or having to self-quarantine is hard to say, but given the vagueness of Meltzter's report, it's possible that's exactly what she's been doing these past couple of weeks!

Her last match was on March 9th when she teamed with Asuka to face Liv Morgan and Natalya. The belief was that was supposed to set the stage for Natalya to tag with WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix at WrestleMania, but the ongoing pandemic has led to a lot of changes with WWE's plans.

There's currently no word on which night it will air on, but The Kabuki Warriors are set to defend the titles against Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.
