On Friday night, WWE cancelled 205 Live at the last minute, the second time that's happened in as many months. Needless to say, this has once again led to wrestling fans wondering whether WWE is planning to scrap the show altogether, especially now the Cruiserweight Championship is making frequent appearances on NXT.

Well, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin, the decision to call the show off came as a result of NXT invasion at the end of Friday night's episode of SmackDown

WWE clearly didn't feel it would make much sense for the Superstars of 205 Live to compete after that and while it's definitely strange, it makes sense to at least some extent. However, Satin was quick to point out that the show isn't "in jeopardy of getting cancelled permanently."

However, with low viewership numbers and fans flocking from the building once 205 Live begins, it's still hard to escape the feeling that the show is living on borrowed time.
