It was previously reported that Daniel Bryan has been cleared to return to the ring; however, we may finally know what the undisclosed injury that the former WWE champion was dealing with. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan suffered a concussion during his match-up with Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania. At the moment, the injury has yet to be confirmed as WWE officials are highly keeping Bryan’s injury under wraps.

Obviously, Bryan getting a concussion is very concerning, but the fact that the company has cleared his return quickly is a good thing. Bryan was originally set to continue his feud with Kofi Kingston going into Money in the Bank, but officials decided to go with Kevin Owens instead since many within the WWE didn’t know if Bryan would make a return.

There’s no word on when the Smackdown Live superstar will make his return to the blue brand, but one can speculate that after Money in the Bank is all said and done, then the former WWE champion will re-emerge and continue his feud with Kingston. As previously mentioned, that’s just pure speculation at the moment.
