Hulk Hogan Will Return To RAW This Monday To Honor The Late "Mean" Gene Okerlund

"Let me tell ya somethin' Mean Gene..."

WWE has announced that Hulk Hogan will make an appearance on Raw this coming Monday to help commemorate the passing and celebrate the life of the legendary "Mean" Gene Okerlund.

Hogan and Okerlund were good friends and some of The Hulkster's best and most memorable promos were cut while he was being interviewed by the late announcer, so his presence on this show does make sense - although his inclusion is still certain to stir up some controversy.

It's been well documented that Hogan was fired and disowned for racist remarks he made on tape some years ago, and while he did host the recent Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia, this will be his first televised appearance in front of a US crowd. Given the nature of the show the crowd will more than likely be respectful, but WWE is still taking a big chance here.

Tune in Monday to see if it pays off, and let us know what you think about Hogan's return in the usual place.
