Humberto Carrillo made his in-ring debut against Seth Rollins this week on Raw, and while he came up short, he certainly earned The Universal Champion's respect.
The former NXT high-flyer cut a promo earlier in the night, bringing up Rollins' unpopular decision to burn down The Firefly Fun House (basically calling him an arsonist). Rollins confronted him about it later on, offering him a chance to back up his words by facing him one-on-one.
The crowd wasn't that into the bout (nobody knew who Carrillo was and Seth is still in the doghouse), but they still put on a great show, with the Luchador pulling out some impressive offence. In the end, Rollins hit the Stomp for the three-count, and shook the young up-and-comer's hand after the match.
Rumor has it that Humberto is set for a decent push on the red brand, so expect to see a lot more of him in the near future.
