On Monday's episode of RAW, Seth Rollins learned that he wouldn't be getting his rematch against Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship. As a result, it appears as if the rivalry between these two could be at an end (which is no great surprise following the response to their match at TLC). Need further proof of that? Well, it turns out that they won't be squaring off at the Royal Rumble.
Shortly after Rollins revealed that he will be competing in the 30-man match, the Lunatic Fringe confirmed his involvement during a backstage promo shared by WWE's social media accounts last night.
Ultimately, this really devalues the Intercontinental title because it makes it clear that holding it isn't as prestigious as being WWE Champion or Universal Champion! Then again, the match could serve as the perfect place to wrap things up between these two! What do you guys think? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section and stay tuned for more Royal Rumble entrants as we have them.
