Is This Why Kurt Angle Was Forced To Take A "Vacation" From His RAW General Manager Position?

Is Kurt Angle set to return to the ring?

The WWE Hall of Famer was recently told to take some time away from his General Manager position on Raw (storyline), and Mike Johnson of PWInsiderElite.com reckons this might be because Angle is off to continue training for an upcoming match - or several of them.

"Unless something has changed in the last 48 hours or so, Kurt Angle had been training for another return match. So it could be that this is the beginning of that storyline to bring him back to the wrestling ring. So either to move him temporarily from the General Manager or remove him completely from the General Manager and have him wrestle every now and again.

Up until this past week Kurt Angle had been training and had been working out in preparation for another return to the ring for WWE.”

Stephanie McMahon essentially handing Constable Baron Corbin his job could certainly work as a set-up for a match between the former Lone Wolf and The Olympic Gold-Medallist somewhere down the line, but there are plenty of other possibilities. After all, Brock Lesnar recently F-5d Kurt on an episode of Raw, and he's also been bumping up against Kevin Owens of late.

Just a rumor for now, but if Angle was to return to in-ring action, who would you most like to see him face?
