Is Triple H Teasing A Future D-Generation X Vs. DIY Match In NXT?

He could be joking about this, but Triple H has sent out a Tweet which would certainly seem to suggest that we could see him re-team with Shawn Michaels to take on Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in NXT.

WWE 2K20 hits shelves today, and Triple H sent out the following Tweet to promote the video game.

As you can see, he appears to hint at a possible match between D-Generation X and DIY.

The Heartbreak Kid has repeatedly said that he's done as an in-ring performer, but he did return for a match against The Undertaker and Kane at Super ShowDown, so we know he can be persuaded.

Meanwhile, Triple H only recently said that if he could choose any current NXT Superstars to compete against, it would be Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.

It seems like a long-shot, but with NXT suffering in the Wednesday ratings war with AEW, it's entirely possible that WWE would pull something like this out of the bag in an attempt to win back those all-important eyeballs.
