Ronda Rousey's arrival on RAW has put WWE's women's division on the map in an even more significant way than it already was, while tournaments like the Mae Young Classic have also helped. Throw in the fact that the company is signing up top female talent like Io Shirai and Toni Storm, and it's fair to say that now is a great time to be a fan of women's wrestling, especially in the WWE.
Earlier this year, rumours started swirling that WWE could introduce a women's tag team division and we even saw some designs online which were reportedly going to be used for the title belts.
Unfortunately, it's now being reported that there are currently no plans to introduce this division...at least not for the time being! Honestly, this is baffling because there are a lot of teams within the singles division who would really benefit from this and a lot of singles stars who would benefit from being able to chase another championship. For now, we'll obviously just have to wait and see.
