Speculation is running rampant online that WWE might be setting the stage for a romantic relationship between SmackDown Live Superstars Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. After the latter picked up a win over Ember Moon on the show, the two shared a lingering touch and glance which most now believe could lead to something bigger.
Deville is WWE's first openly gay female Superstar and the company has been teasing something between the two for a while now.
This would be a bold move on the company's part and a storyline which would definitely generate a lot of discussion. WWE could do with that right now as ratings continue to fall and this would be a big step forward for them in terms of representation on their programming.
