Earlier this week, it was revealed that Triple H is now spearheading WWE Creative without Vince McMahon's interference. It's unclear why the 78-year-old WWE Chairman has finally chosen to take a back seat (it's not like he realises how out of touch he's become), but what we see on RAW, SmackDown, and NXT has definitely improved.
All three shows are better than they have been for a long time, hence why WWE is now on something of a hot streak.
Helping matters is the fact we're getting less hotshot booking, fewer shows changed at the last second on Vince's whim, and a massive reduction in advertised matches not happening (and, on the rare occasion they are cancelled, we at least receive an explanation rather than being treated like idiots).
One of the biggest benefits of Triple H calling the shots has been long-form storytelling; for example, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh were spotted talking backstage for several weeks before the latter finally got involved with The Judgement Day.
This is an effective way to get fans talking and speculating, and Monday's RAW featured an intriguing moment we definitely missed the first time around.
After challenging Seth Rollins to a match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Crown Jewel and stopping Damian Priest's attempted Money in the Bank cash-in, Drew McIntyre was spotted talking to Women's World Champion and Judgement Day member Rhea Ripley.
Is she trying to recruit him? Could they have their own plans together? And is this part of McIntyre's slow-burn heel turn? That remains to be seen but, once again, Triple H has got us all talking!
Check out this intriguing moment from Monday's episode of RAW below.
