It Appears As If The World's Strongest Man Mark Henry Has Finally Retired From WWE

A few years ago, Mark Henry delivered a pitch-perfect retirement speech which ended up being a swerve. However, a new report claims that The World's Strongest Man has now retired from in-ring competition.

Mark Henry is one of WWE's most decorated Superstars but it now seems as if he's finally decided to retire from in-ring competition. The 46-year-old has only appeared sporadically on WWE programming over the past few years and has taken on a greater role as an ambassador for the company as part of its "Legends" programme (as we actually got to see on last night's episode of RAW).

The last time The World's Strongest Man wrestled was on the Kickoff show at this year's WrestleMania when he participated in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

It's a shame to see Henry hang up his boots but he's had a
twenty-year career for WWE and done an awful lot in that time. After all, he's been part of the Nation of Domination, dubbed Sexual Chocolate, won multiple titles, and even, er, fathered a hand with Mae Young once. Will we see him inducted into the Hall of Fame this year? Time will tell but it's going to happen sooner rather than later!
