For whatever reason, WWE no longer appears to make gimmick matches much of a priority these days even at events where we're supposed to see them! Extreme Rules isn't particularly extreme this year and it now seems as if the company has either cancelled or chosen to reschedule this fall's TLC PPV. That was originally set to take place on the TDBank Arena in Boston on October 21st.
As you'll no doubt already realise, the show usually features at least a couple of Tables Ladders and Chairs matches which tend to be a lot of fun depending on which Superstars are involved in them.
At last night's episode of RAW, fans in attendance saw a commercial promoting a co-branded RAW/SmackDown Live "Supershow" on that date rather than TLC and it now appears as if WWE's only October PPV will be the Super Show-Down which is set to take place in Australia. While it's possible TLC will happen in November or December instead, fans in the city are bound to be disappointed.
