Remember when Cedric Alexander delivered such an amazing performance in the Cruiserweight Classic that fans chanted "Please Sign Cedric"? Well, it's hard to believe that it's all been downhill from there for the promising wrestler but Vince McMahon has reportedly given up on him completely.

While he initially received a push when Paul Heyman took charge of RAW, that soon fell by the wayside when Vince decided he didn't like him. Well, things went from bad to worse this week as during the Main Event tapings before RAW, he lost to Mojo Rawley, another Superstar who had been mostly forgotten this year.

Alexander is well-liked backstage and there's no word on what he might have done to fall afoul of the WWE Chairman but his burial continues and it now seems like any hope for him is gone.

With Ricochet and Humberto Carillon bring pushed as the new up and  coming stars, you have to hope they fare better and while we don't know how much longer Alexander is signed with WWE, he's likely going to be better off looking elsewhere now.

What a waste, eh?
