Last night's
RAW featured a sit down interview with
RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch which saw "The Man" admit to being "off" for the past few months. Apparently, she believed that the powers that be put her into the tag team division because they wanted to bury her but Lynch reportedly realises that it's worse than that...they're trying to protect her.
Now, she wants to face Asuka in order to prove herself and with rumours swirling for weeks about a rivalry between these two, a match at the
Royal Rumble PPV next month seems highly likely.
WWE has certainly being doing a lot to build Asuka up as a credible opponent and her and Kairi Sane's win over Lynch and Charlotte Flair at
TLC on Sunday night was a sign of that. The question is, will the Empress of Tomorrow be the one to dethrone "The Man" after she won the title at
WrestleMania?
