It Appears That Reports About Big Cass' Injury May Have Been Greatly Exaggerated

We've been hearing a lot about Big Cass' current WWE status and recent reports have pointed to him potentially being on the shelf for up to a year. Now, it's been said that he'll return to action...this week!

During WWE's recent tour of Europe, an angle was shot on SmackDown Live where Daniel Bryan injured Big Cass' surgically repaired leg. Since then, he's reportedly been seen backstage on crutches and while him continuing to work an injury angle with the leader of the Yes Movement at house shows muddied the waters, we recently heard that he could need up to a year off from in-ring action.

Well, it's now being reported that Cass is set to be back on the road with the SmackDown Live roster this week and that he'll not only be at the show on Tuesday but also at the weekend's live events.

With it now clear that he's been given the green light, chances are he'll interfere in Daniel Bryan's qualifying match against Samoa Joe in order to set up a rematch between him and the former WWE Champion at Money in the Bank. That's not the match the vast majority of fans want but it keeps Bryan out of a dangerous ladder match and will hopefully bring this uninteresting feud to an end.
