When The Usos regained the WWE Smackdown Live Tag-Team titles from The New Day at SummerSlam this past Sunday, some began to speculate that this might be the end for the still mega-popular trio - however, that doesn't seem to be the case.

According to the usually-reliable Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, WWE still has big plans for Xavier, Kofi and Big-E. Apparently, the company wants to push The New Day as the tag-team with the most title reigns in addition to having the longest reign. That current record is held by The Dudleys who have held the titles 9 times.

This likely explains why they lost the straps back to The Usos so quickly, and we'll probably be seeing many more exchanges between the two teams in the coming months.
