It Doesn't Sound Like WWE Has Plans For Batista At This Year's WRESTLEMANIA

Despite reports that Batista will return to compete at this year's WrestleMania, a new report reveals that WWE currently has no plans for the Guardians of the Galaxy star at the Showcase of the Immortals.

Originally, it appears as if Triple H would be taking on Batista at WrestleMania but a pec injury put The Game on the shelf and he's no longer being lined up for a match at the show. Where does the leave the Guardians of the Galaxy star? Well, not on the card of this year's Showcase of the Immortals by the sound of it!

According to PW Insider Elite's Mike Johnson, Batista's status for WrestleMania isn't good for quite a few different reasons.

"Batista, to the best of my knowledge I’ve heard nothing about Batista," he explained. "I know there was a lot of expectation about him against Triple H at WrestleMania, but he’s gonna be making Dune — the remake in the next couple of months. Whether that leaves him the ability to train, prepare, and even come back to wrestle we will see. I haven’t heard anything about it."

That's a shame but most fans would prefer to see full-time WWE Superstars receive a spot on the show so perhaps this is ultimately for the best! What do you guys think? As always, share your thoughts on this news in the comments section down below.
