It Looks Like Alexa Bliss Will Return To RAW With Her Same Fiend-Inspired Supernatural Gimmick

It was confirmed last week that we'd get an update on Alexa Bliss' WWE status during tonight's episode of RAW, but it's looking like she'll be returning with that same, mostly unpopular gimmick. Check it out!

During last week's episode of RAW, we were promised an update on Alexa Bliss, but it may not be the one many of you were hoping for. Prior to taking some time off, Bliss was still in her Fiend-like persona and it wasn't really working; while WWE had been able to make up for that with camera tricker during the ThunderDome era, live fans simply weren't responding to that character.

Unfortunately, a Tweet sent out by Bliss earlier today suggests she'll be back with the same - or a similar - gimmick. The hope had been that WWE would use this opportunity to take the former Women's Champion back to basics, but the company appears to be committed to this supernatural character.

It's unclear whether Bliss will make a physical appearance on RAW or just show up in video packages. The last time we saw her, she lost to Charlotte Flair at the Extreme Rules PPV.

Also scheduled for tonight's show is an appearance from Brock Lesnar and Paul Hyman, Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair vs. Doudrop in a Triple Threat Match with the winner going on to challenge Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble, and RK-Bro vs. Alpha Academy. This is WWE, though, so expect changes.
