It Looks Like Mercedes Martinez Has Left Retribution & May Be On Her Way Back To NXT

It looks like reports that Mercedes Martinez has left Retribution may have now been confirmed.

The one-time Mae Young Classic competitor debuted as one of the five main members of the group a few weeks ago, but when she didn't accompany her teammates to the ring during their recent TV appearances, speculation mounted that she must have been removed from the divisive faction.

Then, when Retribution were officially drafted to Raw last night (don't event get us started), Martinez - who is believed to have been rebranded as Retaliation - was not part of the graphic.

WWE seems to be setting up a match between Retribution and The Hurt Business (we're rooting for the heels), and MVP recently teased that he might soon add a a female member to his group. This would allow both teams to square-off on a 6 or 8-person tag situation with this mysterious Superstar counteracting Mia Yim, so it's possible Martinez was seen as one women too many.

That's pure speculation on our part, but several reports do indicate that Mercedes may soon move back to NXT and continue her rivalry with Rhea Ripley.

We'll keep you guys updated.
