Over the weekend, rumors did the rounds that Daniel Bryan would ultimately be revealed as the Superstar who attacked Roman Reigns, and the two would face-off at SummerSlam this Sunday. The match was never made official, but even if it was on the card, it looks like plans have changed.

According to Dave Meltzer, Vince McMahon decided to scrap the match once it became clear they weren't going to have the time to properly build towards it on the weekly shows.

Although Bryan and Reigns are still expected to feud in the weeks and months after the PPV, don't expect to get any more insight into "Who Attacked Roman" this Sunday.
