It looks like that inter-gender match between Nia Jax and Dean Ambrose isn't happening after all.

Over the weekend, a commercial for an upcoming live event in Arkansas did the rounds online, and it promoted a "special attraction" bout between the currently feuding Superstars. However, WWE has now reached out to Post Wrestling and informed that that the ad was outdated and the match would not take place. After seeking clarification, the site was simply told that "the ad is incorrect."

It seems highly unlikely that this televised commercial went out by accident, so we reckon WWE decided to cancel the match after word had already got out. Why? Well, there was some backlash after it was announced, but it can't have been anything the higher-ups weren't expecting.

Hopefully the dirtsheets will be able to provide a bit more information soon, but for now be sure to let us know what you think in the comments.
