Last night on RAW, John Cena made his way out to the ring to call out Roman Reigns, igniting a feud that many fans had expected to carry on until WrestleMania 34 next year. However, it looks like WWE is still set on making Reigns VS. Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship the main event.

According to Dave Meltzer on PWInsider.com, there was talk of running with Cena VS. Reigns but plans reverted back to The Big Dog VS. The Beast when Braun Strowman returned from injury. Now, The Monster Among Men will face-off against Lesnar at the No Mercy PPV next month in what's certain to be a very physical bout.

Things are still subject to change, of course, but for now Meltzer seems pretty certain that Reigns VS. Lesnar has been "locked in" as the 'Mania ME. Perhaps not a particularly exciting prospect for many, but there you go.
