Braun Strowman returned to Raw last night after a short absence to make the save when Seth Rollins and Ricochet were getting beat-down by AJ Styles and The OC. After the melee, The Monster Among Men handed the Universal Championship back to The Beast Slayer, and while many fans assumed a double-cross was coming, the show ended with both Superstars shaking hands.
However, it looks like Strowman is still in line to face Rollins for the title.
According to Dave Meltzer (and yes, we're aware he does talk nonsense sometimes), the match is set to take place at Clash of Champions - but he stresses that plans can change. To be fair, it seems that's to be expected with most of the current feuds and storylines moving forward.
If this the plan, it's interesting that WWE decided to keep Strowman face. Perhaps that turn is still on the cards?
Clash Of Champions is set for September 15th at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
