It Seems There Are No Longer Plans For WWE Hall Of Famer Sting To Appear At SUPER SHOWDOWN

Last month, rumours started doing the rounds about Sting making an appearance at the Royal Rumble and it was later claimed we could see him at Super ShowDown. Now, that no longer seems to be the case.

Last month, PW Insider revealed that there had been talk of WWE Hall of Famer Sting making an appearance either at the Royal Rumble or upcoming Super ShowDown event. The former obviously never ended up happening but what about the Saudi Arabia show later this month?

Well, the same site is now saying that talks between WWE and Sting appear to have died down. As a result, it likely means a deal hasn't been reached and that the iconic WCW star won't be making an appearance during the event after all.

We're not sure what went wrong but it sounds like the original plan may have been for Sting to enter the Royal Rumble and set up a match at Super ShowDown. For whatever reason, that changed and it looks like his in-ring return won't be happening after all (which might be best for his health after what happened during his last WWE match with Seth Rollins).

We'll let you guys know if anything changes but time is rapidly running out!
