It Seems We Can Forget About Finn Balor Vs. Brock Lesnar Happening At The ROYAL RUMBLE

It's been rumoured for a while now that Finn Balor will finally get his Universal Championship rematch at the Royal Rumble against Brock Lesnar but it's now been revealed that Vince McMahon has scrapped that.

Since returning to RAW, Finn Balor has yet to receive his rematch for the Universal Championship. He only held the title for 24 hours after being injured during his match with Seth Rollins at SummerSlam last year and Dave Meltzer has now revealed that upcoming plans for The Demon to battle The Beast at Royal Rumble have been scrapped because Vince McMahon doesn't think Balor is over enough.

That's based on the response he
received at Survivor Series this past Sunday but Meltzer believes McMahon made his decision before that due to the way he was handled in the elimination match.

Balor not being over is hardly a surprise, especially as he was involved in an overlong and cringeworthy feud with Bray Wyatt before being buried by Kane shortly after. So, now the Irish wrestler is no longer considered main event material, who will Lesnar face at Royal Rumble? WWE isn't sure but McMahon is said to be adamant that no one kicks out of the F-5 before his WrestleMania match!
