It Seems WWE Wasn't Best Pleased About Those "Rusev Day" Chants On SMACKDOWN LIVE

Is WWE unhappy with how over Rusev is? He's already been removed from that Casket Match with The Undertaker and now the company has dubbed over chants for him on this week's episode of SmackDown Live.

When Paige was announced as the new SmackDown Live General Manager, she announced that the main event would feature Daniel Bryan in another dream match. Before she could mention Daniel Bryan's name, though, those in attendance started chanting "Rusev Day" in support of the Bulgarian Brute.

Fans did finally start chanting for AJ Styles but as you can see in the video below, WWE has now dubbed over those "Rusev Day" chants with ones for Styles despite them not matching what fans can be seen saying in the first few rows. It's a weird move but Vince McMahon and company officials clearly aren't interested in pushing Rusev and don't want another Yes Movement on their hands.

That's a shame but his merchandise sales prove that he's a massively popular Superstar and if we're lucky, WWE will realise that sooner rather than later because Rusev definitely deserves better.
