It Sounds Like Brock Lesnar's Next Universal Championship Defence Will Indeed Be At SUMMERSLAM

We've been hearing conflicting reports about Brock Lesnar's WWE status for a while now but it appears as if The Beast is sticking around for the long haul and that he'll be headlining SummerSlam this year.

Ever since Brock Lesnar managed to defeat Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, speculation has been running rampant about what comes next for The Beast. Is he working on a show by show basis or has he signed a new WWE contract the company is keeping secret in order to avoid anyone working out when and where he'll drop the Universal Championship. So, what comes next for Lesnar?

According to Dave Meltzer, he will indeed be defending the title at SummerSlam. Who that will be against remains to be seen but much to the chagrin of fans, it's probably going to be Roman again!

Despite this, Lesnar's WWE future still isn't set in stone. It's said that he could still apply to be put back in the USADA testing pool for UFC up until June 30th and if that happens, it's pretty much a guarantee that he'll end up fighting in the octagon again before the year is over. If he doesn't do that, he's going to stay with WWE for the long haul...and will hopefully be beaten by Braun Strowman!
