Ricochet is one of the most popular independent wrestlers operating today and it now sounds like those rumours about him coming to WWE are finally coming to fruition. Despite having been a wrestler for the past 14 years, he's never entered the squared circle for Vince McMahon but it appears as if the former Lucha Underground star is finally free to make that dream a reality.
According to a new report, Ricochet is currently finishing up his contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling and is wrapping up other independent bookings too. The fact he lost the IWGP Junior Tag Team Championship he held with partner Ryusuke Taguchi on Monday night in Japan lends some weight to this but when exactly should we expect to see him either in NXT or WWE programming?
The finale of Lucha Underground airs on October 18th, so Ricochet will be free to sign with WWE then. However, a 90-day no compete cause means he won't make his WWE debut until January.
