After being out of action for several months with a leg injury, it sound like Jeff Hardy is close to returning to WWE television. According to PW Insider, he's scheduled to report to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando this week to check his progress to determine when he can make his in-ring return.

He hasn't been seen for almost a year on RAW or SmackDown and while his contract was expected to expire on March 1st alongside Matt's, the belief is that WWE will add time to his deal to make up for that...and to ensure he doesn't head to a company like All Elite Wrestling with his brother.

As a result, he's unlikely to be a free agent until 2021 and it will be interesting seeing how WWE uses him after his recent legal issues (he's scheduled to be in court the day after WrestleMania).

We'll let you guys know if we hear more!
