Former United States Champion MVP made his surprise return to WWE last night during the Royal Rumble match and entered at #12 before being eliminated after just 24 seconds by Brock Lesnar.

However, if you thought that was the last we'd seen of him, guess again! According to Wrestling Observer Live, the plan is for him to make at least a few more appearances for the company but there's no word on the company actually has planned for him.

What we do know is that it's likely a short-term thing rather than something that will probably last through WrestleMania season. It's definitely great to see him back, though, and there's no doubt a lot that a veteran like him could bring to the table.

We know that a big part of why he's returned is for his son so it makes sense that he'll want to compete in at least a handful of actual matches!
