It Sounds Like We'll Be Waiting A While Before Brock Lesnar Defends The Universal Championship Again

Well, this isn't really all that surprising. According to a new report, WWE doesn't currently have a huge amount planned for Brock Lesnar moving into the summer and that means a return is on hold for now.

We still don't know what Brock Lesnar's deal with WWE actually is but it currently appears as if he's being paid per appearance or is signed to some sort of short-term deal. Whatever the case may be, it's now being reported that we won't see him again until SummerSlam rolls around. That means he definitely won't be competing at Money in the Bank despite numerous reports to the contrary.

Rumours are swirling that Lesnar will drop the title at that PPV in late July and the reason WWE has kept it on him this long is partly
because they want The Beast to eclipse CM Punk's record reign.

As horrible a prospect as this may be, you have to believe that Lesnar is going to end up losing the title to Roman Reigns given what happened the last time they did battle at the Greatest Royal Rumble and that's bound to be a match with those in Brooklyn react to with a lot of boos when it takes place. What do you hope comes next for The Beast? Share your thoughts in the comments section.
