When Neville decided to leave WWE, the company seemingly punished the former Cruiserweight Champion by making him sit out the rest of his contract without releasing him. However, following reports that he's finally free from that, Dave Meltzer notes that Neville has now been contacted by independent promoters and told them that he can't accept dates right now, he will be doing so very soon.
WWE has previously said that Neville is free and clear to work wherever he likes so it's unclear whether or not a non-compete is in place but it does seem as if he will be making his next move shortly.
New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and IMPACT Wrestling are no doubt itching to sign the former WWE Superstar and Cody Rhodes would probably like to join forces with him too. Regardless of where he shows up, you have to hope he'll talk about his WWE departure in the not too distant future because fans are still very much in the dark in regards to what happened behind the scenes.
