It Sounds Like WWE Hall Of Famer Edge Could Indeed Make His In-Ring Return Very Soon

There have been rumblings for months now that Edge is set to return to in-ring action after being forced to retire a few years ago and a new report points to there being some smoke to those rumours...

On numerous occasions now, WWE Hall of Famer Edge has denied reports that he's planning to step back inside the ring. However, evidence continues to mount that it will indeed happen and PW Insider is today reporting that he's been present for a number of WWE TV tapings lately. This comes just a couple of months after he signed a new contract with the company.

These rumours first started doing the rounds after Edge was allowed to get physical with Elias at SummerSlam and the belief backstage is that he'll end up with a similar schedule to Brock Lesnar where he competes a few times a year at big shows.

Edge has also been telling people that he's now back in shape and it's thought that he's been looking into stem cell treatment to further help with his neck problems (many wrestlers, including Kevin Nash, have said they're in less pain after receiving those). WWE has also been more open to letting talent return in recent years, hence why Kurt Angle and Daniel Bryan have been back in the ring this year.

Needless to say, Edge winning the Royal Rumble and challenging Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania would be pretty damn amazing...
