Dave Meltzer recently revealed that Braun Strowman was pulled from his match with Intercontinental Champion The Miz at WrestleMania because he's going to be used as a backup for the Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns main event for the Universal Championship at the Showcase of the Immortals.

While there's been a lot of speculation that WWE is concerned about Lesnar potentially taking his ball and going home as he eyes a return to the UFC, it turns out that Reigns may be the problem.

As you no doubt already know, he's been implicated in a steroid ring by jailed dealer Richard Rodriquez along with actors Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel. Should any solid evidence be presented tying Reigns to this, he'll likely be suspended or fired and that leaves a huge gap in the WrestleMania card. However, it's a gap which the company is currently considering putting Braun Strowman in.

Whether or not that will come to pass remains to be seen but we'll be sure to keep you updated!
